COSTUME IN ART

The final costume of my third year on the BA (Hons) costume construction degree. We were tasked with constructing a costume inspired by a piece of artwork of our choice.

Influenced by the ethereal aesthetic and delicate colour palette in "Crossing The Stream" by Hans Zatzka. Blended with the elegance of gowns seen in Netflix's Bridgerton, this costume is a re-imagination of regency day dress.
